This order, which comes into force on 29 April 2021, inserts the name of the Strategic Planning Reform Board into Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Public Service Act 2020 (the principal Act), as an interdepartmental executive board serviced by the Ministry for the Environment.

As a result of the order, the board becomes a public service agency to which the principal Act applies. The principal Act governs the board’s responsibilities, powers, and working arrangements, and the selection of board members.
