This order is made under section 2 of the Legislation (Repeals and Amendments) Act 2019 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

Order

1 Title

This order is the Legislation (Repeals and Amendments) Act Commencement Order 2021.

2 Commencement of Part 2 of Legislation (Repeals and Amendments) Act 2019

Part 2 of the Legislation (Repeals and Amendments) Act 2019 comes into force on 28 October 2021.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings Part 2 of the Legislation (Repeals and Amendments) Act 2019 into force on 28 October 2021. Part 2 repeals, revokes, and amends various legislation as a consequence of the commencement of the Legislation Act 2019.

Part 1 of that Act has already commenced and Part 3 will be brought into force on a later date.
