Road User Charges Amendment Regulations 2021

These regulations are made under section 89 of the Road User Charges Act 2012 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

Regulations

1 Title

These regulations are the Road User Charges Amendment Regulations 2021.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 10 December 2021.

3 Principal regulations

These regulations amend the Road User Charges Regulations 2012.

4 Schedule amended

In the Schedule, Part 2, after the item relating to type H vehicle type number H76, insert:

H80Towing vehicle that is part of an overweight combination vehicle consisting of a type 6 RUC vehicle towing a type 951 RUC vehicle with a permit weight of more than 53,000 kg but not more than 55,000 kg

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 10 December 2021, amend the Road User Charges Regulations 2012 by prescribing a new RUC vehicle type H80 in Part 2 of the Schedule.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
