Local Government Members (2021/22) Amendment Determination 2022: revoked, on 1 July 2022, pursuant to clause 16 of the Local Government Members (2022/23) Determination 2022 (SL 2022/178).
The Parliamentary Counsel Office has made editorial and format changes to this version using the powers under subpart 2 of Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019.
Note 4 at the end of this version provides a list of the amendments included in it.
This determination (to which is appended an explanatory memorandum) is made by the Remuneration Authority under the Remuneration Authority Act 1977 and clause 6 of Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002, after having regard to the matters specified in clause 7 of that schedule.
This determination is the Local Government Members (2021/22) Amendment Determination 2022.

This determination amends the Local Government Members (2021/22) Determination 2021.
In the Schedule, Part 1, item relating to Otago Regional Council, replace the items relating to Deputy Chairperson and Councillor (with no additional responsibilities) with:

The amendments relating to the Otago Regional Council are deemed to have come into force on 25 November 2021. The amendments relating to the Waitaki District Council are deemed to have come into force on 22 December 2021.
The amendments in this determination are made at the request of the councils concerned and approved by the Remuneration Authority.
