PURSUANT to section 8 of the Finance Act, 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following Order.

This order may be cited as the Marketing Department Advances Order 1951.

The Marketing Department is hereby authorized to make advances by way of loan in respect of any goods of the kinds or classes mentioned in the Schedule hereto upon and subject either generally, or in any particular case, to such terms and conditions as to repayment or otherwise as the Minister of Marketing may prescribe:
Provided that no such advances in respect of any one transaction shall exceed in the aggregate £10,000.
