Periodic Detention Order 1963

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Criminal Justice Amendment Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

  • This order may be cited as the Periodic Detention Order 1963.

  • Sections 9 to 15 of the Criminal Justice Amendment Act 1962 shall come into force on the 15th day of July 1963.

    Regulation 3 was revoked, as from 20 October 1966, by regulation 4 Periodic Detention Order 1966 (SR 1966/182).

    Regulation 4 was revoked, as from 20 October 1966, by regulation 4 Periodic Detention Order 1966 (SR 1966/182).
