Revocation of Regulations as to the Cleansing, Ventilation, Sanitation, and Disinfection of Theatres, Picture Halls, and Concert Rooms: revoked, on 6 November 2008, by clause 3 of the Regulations Revocation Order 2008 (SR 2008/367).

This order is administered in the Department of Health.
PURSUANT to the Health Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the regulations relating to the cleansing, ventilation, sanitation, and disinfection of theatres, picture halls, and concert rooms which were made under the Health Act 1920 by Order in Council dated the 18th day of June 19231.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order revokes regulations made in 1923 to control sanitary conditions in places of entertainment. The subject-matter of the regulations may now be dealt with under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Counties Act 1956.
Issued under the authority of the Regulations Act 1936.
Date of notification in Gazette: 27 March 1969.
