Private Investigators and Security Guards Act Commencement Order 1975: revoked, on 1 April 2011, by section 120(a) of the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010 (2010 No 115).

PURSUANT to the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title

This order may be cited as the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act Commencement Order 1975.

2 Interpretation

In this order, the Act means the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 1974.

3 Commencement of specified provisions of Act

(1) Section 16 of the Act shall come into force on the 1st day of November 1975.

(2) Subject to subclause (1) of this clause, all the provisions of the Act shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1975.
