This order is administered in the Department of Justice.

PURSUANT to the Ombudsmen Act 1975, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

2 Commencement of provisions of Act

1 Title

  • This order may be cited as the Ombudsmen Act Commencement Order 1975.

2 Commencement of provisions of Act

  • Part 3 of Schedule 1 to the Ombudsmen Act 1975, and sections 13, 18, and 2 of that Act so far as they relate to that Part, shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1976.
