PURSUANT to section 3(3) of the Local Government Amendment Act 1975, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Local Government Amendment Act Commencement Order 1977.
2 Commencement of certain provisions of Local Government Amendment Act 1975
Subsections (2) to (4) of section 159 of the Local Government Act 1974 (as substituted by section 3 of the Local Government Amendment Act 1975) and section 3(2) of the Local Government Amendment Act 1975 shall come into force on the 29th day of November 1977.
