PURSUANT to the Trustee Banks Act 1983, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title and commencement

(1) This order may be cited as the Trustee Banks Establishment Orders Amendment Order 1984.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984.

2 Orders in Council establishing trustee banks amended

The Orders in Council specified in Schedule 1 to this order are hereby amended in the manner indicated in that Schedule.

3 Orders in Council revoked

The Orders in Council specified in Schedule 2 to this order are hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 April 1984, amends a number of orders relating to the establishment of certain trustee banks by omitting certain provisions. The provisions omitted have (as a result of the passing of the Trustee Banks Act 1983) become unnecessary or obsolete.

Issued under the authority of the Regulations Act 1936.
