Liquid Fuels Trust Levy Order 1986

PURSUANT to section 26(1) of the Liquid Fuels Trust Act 1978, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title and commencement

  • (1) This order may be cited as the Liquid Fuels Trust Levy Order 1986.

    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1986.

2 Rate of levy

  • The rate of levy specified in section 25(2) of the Liquid Fuels Trust Act 1978 is hereby reduced to 0.0 of a cent per litre of liquid fuel.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order reduces the rate of the levy payable under section 25 of the Liquid Fuels Trust Act 1978 from 0.1 cents per litre of liquid fuel to nil.

Issued under the authority of the Regulations Act 1936.

Date of notification in Gazette: 25 September 1986.
