This order is administered in the Treasury.

PURSUANT to the Public Finance Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, by this order, which shall come into force on the 12th day of May 1989, revokes the Public Finance (Air New Zealand Limited Audit) Order 19821.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which results from the sale by the Crown of all but one of its shares in Air New Zealand Limited, revokes the order that has the effect of constituting the Audit Office as the auditor of Air New Zealand Limited.

The revocation takes effect on 12 May 1989.

Issued under the authority of the Regulations Act 1936.

Date of notification in Gazette: 4 May 1989.
