Pursuant to sections 38 and 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991 Amendment Regulations 2011.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 July 2011.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991.
4 International passenger security charges
Regulation 20(1) is amended by omitting
“$10”
and substituting“$8”
.
5 Domestic passenger security charges
Regulation 20A(1) is amended by omitting
“$4.35”
and substituting“$3.70”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2011, amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991. The amendments reduce the international passenger security charge from $10 to $8 and reduce the domestic passenger security charge from $4.35 to $3.70.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 2 June 2011.
These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Transport.
