This order is administered in the Treasury.

PURSUANT to section 1(2) of the International Finance Agreements Amendment Act 1992, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title

  • This order may be cited as the International Finance Agreements Amendment Act Commencement Order 1993.

2 Commencement of International Finance Agreements Amendment Act 1992

  • The International Finance Agreements Amendment Act 1992 shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1993.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force, on 1 June 1993, the International Finance Agreements Amendment Act 1992.

The Act incorporates in the International Finance Agreements Act 1961 recent amendments to the articles of agreement of the International Monetary Fund and the International Finance Corporation.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
