PURSUANT to section 1(3) of the National Bank of New Zealand Limited Act 1994, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title
This Order may be cited as the National Bank of New Zealand Limited Act Commencement Order 1994.
2 Commencement of sections 4 to 10, 13, 14, and 15 of National Bank of New Zealand Limited Act 1994
Sections 4 to 10, 13, 14, and 15 of the National Bank of New Zealand Limited Act 1994 shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1994.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 1 July 1994, sections 4 to 10, 13, 14, and 15 of the National Bank of New Zealand Limited Act 1994. The effect of the order is that on that date—
(a) The undertaking of The Rural Bank Limited is transferred to The National Bank of New Zealand Limited; and
(b) The Rural Bank Limited is dissolved.
