State Sector Order 1995: revoked, on 7 August 2020, by section 134 of the Public Service Act 2020 (2020 No 40).

This order is administered by the State Services Commission.

PURSUANT to section 27(2) of the State Sector Act 1988, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

1 Title and commencement

(1)

This order may be cited as the State Sector Order 1995.

(2)

This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1995.

2 Department of Corrections

Schedule 1 to the State Sector Act 1988 (as substituted by section 28(1) of the State Sector Amendment Act (No 2) 1989) is hereby amended by inserting, after the item relating to the Department of Conservation, the following item:

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 October 1995, adds the name of the Department of Corrections to Schedule 1 to the State Sector Act 1988. That Schedule lists the Departments of the Public Service.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
