This order is administered in the Ministry of Transport.

PURSUANT to section 1(2) of the Auckland Airport Amendment Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

  • This order may be cited as the Auckland Airport Amendment Act Commencement Order 1997.

2 Commencement of Auckland Airport Amendment Act 1996

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force, on 1 February 1998, the Auckland Airport Amendment Act 1996. That Act amends the Auckland Airport Act 1987 to provide for the shareholding of the Minister of Civil Aviation and Meteorological Services in Auckland Airport to be transferred to the Minister for State-Owned Enterprises.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
