Work Centres Amendment Notice 1998: revoked, on 29 July 1999, pursuant to clause 3(a) of the Periodic Detention Centre (Matthews Avenue (Kaitaia)) Notice 1999 (SR 1999/249).

This notice is administered by the Department of Corrections.

PURSUANT to section 126 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, the Minister of Corrections gives the following notice.

1 Title and commencement

(1)

This notice may be cited as the Work Centres Amendment Notice 1998.

(2)

This notice takes effect from 16 July 1998.

2 Amendments

The Work Centres Notice (No 3) 19841 is amended—

(a)

By revoking clause 2(6); and

(b)

By revoking so much of the Schedule as relates to the land described as the Hill Street Work Centre.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which takes effect from 16 July 1998, is made under the Criminal Justice Act 1985. It amends the Work Centres Notice (No 3) 1984. The amendments revoke parts of that notice relating to the Hill Street Work Centre. The parts are revoked because that Centre is no longer operational.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
