Companies Act 1993 Amendment Regulations 1998

These regulations are administered in the Ministry of Commerce.

PURSUANT to section 395 of the Companies Act 1993, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Contents

1 Title and commencement

  • (1) These regulations may be cited as the Companies Act 1993 Amendment Regulations 1998, and are part of the Companies Act 1993 Regulations 19941 (“the principal regulations”).

    (2) These regulations come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

2 Form 7 amended

  • Form 7 in Schedule 1 of the principal regulations is amended by inserting, after the expression “SECTION 41(b) */SECTION 42 *”, the expression “/SECTION 107(2) *”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette, amend Form 7 of Schedule 1 of the Companies Act 1993 Regulations 1994 as a result of a 1997 amendment to section 43(1) of the Companies Act 1993.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
