Co-operative Companies (Forms) Amendment Regulations 1998

These regulations are administered in the Ministry of Commerce.
PURSUANT to section 48 of the Co-operative Companies Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title and commencement

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Co-operative Companies (Forms) Amendment Regulations 1998, and are part of the Co-operative Companies (Forms) Regulations 19961 (
“the principal regulations”
).(2) These regulations come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette, add a new Form 5 to the Schedule of the Co-operative Companies (Forms) Regulations 1996. The new Form 5 is an application form to be used by co-operative companies in applying to the Registrar of Companies for the cancellation of registration under section 12 of the Co-operative Companies Act 1996.
