This order is administered in the Ministry of Commerce.

PURSUANT to section 1(2) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

  • This order may be cited as the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act Commencement Order 1998.

2 Commencement of Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force, on 1 May 1998, the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997.
