Horticultural Prescribed Products (Garlic) Revocation Order 1999: revoked, on 6 November 2008, by clause 3 of the Regulations Revocation Order 2008 (SR 2008/367).

PURSUANT to section 31(1)(b) of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987 and section 7 of the Constitution Act 1986, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade made in compliance with section 33 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, makes the following order.
1 Title and commencement

(1) This order may be cited as the Horticultural Prescribed Products (Garlic) Revocation Order 1999.
(2) This order comes into force on 31 August 1999.
2 Revocation
The Horticultural Prescribed Products (Garlic) Order 19881 is revoked.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 31 August 1999 revokes the Horticultural Prescribed Products (Garlic) Order 1988. The order is revoked at the request of the New Zealand Garlic Export Council Ltd. From the date of revocation, garlic will no longer be subject to export licensing in accordance with Part 3 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987. The revocation coincides with the end of the garlic export season.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
