These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 1999, prescribe a new scale of fees in respect of various matters under the Patents Regulations 1954.
The new fee scale is considerably simplified, containing only 17 separate items as opposed to the previous 58 items for which fees were payable. As with the previous scale, the fees are GST exclusive.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 8 June 1999.
