  • Patents (Patent Cooperation Treaty) Amendment Regulations 1999: revoked, on 13 September 2014, pursuant to section 247(3) of the Patents Act 2013 (2013 No 68).

These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.

PURSUANT to the Patents Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title and commencement

  • (1) These regulations may be cited as the Patents (Patent Cooperation Treaty) Amendment Regulations 1999, and are part of the Patents (Patent Cooperation Treaty) Regulations 19921 (“the principal regulations”).

    (2) These regulations come into force on 1 July 1999.

2 New scale of fees substituted

  • The principal regulations are amended by revoking the Schedule, and substituting the Schedule set out in the Schedule of these regulations.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 1999, prescribe a new scale of fees in respect of various matters under the Patents (Patent Cooperation Treaty) Regulations 1992.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.

Date of notification in Gazette: 3 June 1999.
