These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Transport.

Pursuant to sections 167, 168, and 218 of the Land Transport Act 1998, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations

1 Title

These regulations are the Land Transport (Certification and Other Fees) Amendment Regulations 2010.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 April 2010.

3 Principal regulations amended

These regulations amend the Land Transport (Certification and Other Fees) Regulations 1999.

4 New regulation 8C inserted

The following regulation is inserted after regulation 8B:
“8C Fee payable for Category A Left-hand Drive Vehicle Permit application

The fee payable for a Category A Left-hand Drive Vehicle Permit application under clause 1 of Part 2 of the Schedule of Land Transport Rule: Steering Systems 2001 is $150.”

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 April 2010, amend the Land Transport (Certification and Other Fees) Regulations 1999. The amendment specifies a fee of $150 for a Category A Left-hand Drive Vehicle Permit application under clause 1 of Part 2 of the Schedule of Land Transport Rule: Steering Systems 2001.
