Pursuant to section 41 of the Weights and Measures Act 1987, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Weights and Measures Amendment Regulations 2012.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 October 2012.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Weights and Measures Regulations 1999 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 88 revoked (Warrant to enter dwellinghouse)
Revoke regulation 88.
5 Schedule 5 amended
In Schedule 5, revoke form 3.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 October 2012, make amendments to the Weights and Measures Regulations 1999 (the principal regulations) that are consequential on the commencement of certain provisions of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. These regulations revoke regulation 88 and form 3 in Schedule 5 of the principal regulations.
Date of notification in Gazette: 30 August 2012.
These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Economic Development.
