Pursuant to section 48 of the Marine Farming Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Marine Farming (Fees) Regulations 2000.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 October 2000.
3 Interpretation
In these regulations, Act means the Marine Farming Act 1971.
4 Fees
(1)
The fee payable in respect of any application for the variation or extension of a lease or licence under section 13 of the Act is $803.28.
(2)
The fee payable in respect of the registration of a lease, licence, mortgage, or other instrument under section 15 of the Act is $66.94.
(3)
The fee payable in respect of the provision under section 15 of the Act of a certified copy of any instrument registered on the register is $66.94.

5 Fees inclusive of GST
The fees specified in regulation 4 are inclusive of goods and services tax.
6 Revocation
The Marine Farming (Fees) Regulations 1997 (SR 1997/192) are revoked.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the Marine Farming (Fees) Regulations 2000 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
