Transport (Breath Tests) Amendment Notice 2001

  • Transport (Breath Tests) Amendment Notice 2001: revoked, on 3 February 2010, pursuant to clause 9  of the Land Transport (Breath Tests) Notice 2009 (SR 2009/386).

Pursuant to sections 2 and 218 of the Land Transport Act 1998, the Minister of Police gives the following notice.

1 Title
2 Commencement

  • This notice comes into force on 4 May 2001.

3 Interpretation

  • Clause 2 of the principal notice is amended by revoking the definition of Intoxilyzer 5000, and substituting the following definition:

    “Intoxilyzer 5000 means an Intoxilyzer® 5000 breath analysis instrument; and includes an Intoxilyzer® 5000EN breath analysis instrument and any other device having the trade name ‘Intoxilyzer’ and associated with the number 5000 or with an expression containing the number 5000.”

Dated at Wellington this 1st day of May 2001.
