New Zealand Council for Educational Research (Electoral College) Amendment Order 2001: revoked, on 21 May 2009, pursuant to clause 4 of the New Zealand Council for Educational Research (Electoral College) Order 2009 (SR 2009/92).

This order is administered by the Ministry of Education.
Pursuant to section 21(2) of the New Zealand Council for Educational Research Act 1972, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and in accordance with the recommendation of the Minister of Education, makes the following order.
1 Title
(1)
This order is the New Zealand Council for Educational Research (Electoral College) Amendment Order 2001.
(2)
In this order, the New Zealand Council for Educational Research (Electoral College) Order 19981 is called “the principal order”
.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 7 June 2001.
3 People entitled to have their names enrolled on roll of electoral college

Clause 2 of the principal order is amended by inserting, after paragraph (3), the following paragraph:

Richard Watkins, former director of the Council:

Clause (2) of the principal order is amended by omitting paragraphs (9) and (10), and substituting the following paragraphs:

The general manager of Career Services:
(10)
The chief executive of the Specialist Education Services Board:
Marie Shroff,
Clerk of the Executive Council.
Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 7 June 2001, amends the list of people who are entitled to have their names enrolled on the roll of the electoral college of the New Zealand Council for Educational Research. There are 3 changes:
the name of Richard Watkins, a former director of the Council, is added (all former directors are members of the electoral college):
the reference in paragraph (9) to the Career Development and Transition Education Service is changed to reflect that service’s new name, Career Services:
a new paragraph (10) is substituted to correct a drafting error.
