Pursuant to section 325 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister for ACC after complying with subsection (2) of that section, makes the following regulations.

Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Ancillary Services) Amendment Regulations 2010.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 October 2010.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Ancillary Services) Regulations 2002.
4 Non-emergency scheduled surface public transport costs
Regulation 7(1)(c)(i) is amended by omitting
“$45”
and substituting“$46”
.
5 Non-emergency transport by private motor vehicle
Regulation 8(1) is amended by omitting
“28 cents”
and substituting“29 cents”
.
6 Non-emergency other transport

(1) Regulation 11(2) is amended by omitting
“28 cents”
and substituting“29 cents”
.(2) Regulation 11(2)(c)(i) is amended by omitting
“$45”
and substituting“$46”
.
7 Accommodation costs
Regulation 14(1) is amended by omitting
“$56.30”
and substituting“$57.55”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 October 2010, amend the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Ancillary Services) Regulations 2002 (principal regulations).
The amendments increase amounts prescribed in the principal regulations to take account of the increase in the rate of goods and services tax on 1 October 2010 from 12.5% to 15% as provided by section 45 of the Taxation (Budget Measures) Act 2010.
