Pursuant to section 81D of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (Fees and Charges) Amendment Regulations 2008.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 July 2008.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2002.
4 Fees and charges
Regulation 4(3) is amended by omitting “July”
and substituting “October”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2008, prescribe new fees and charges payable in respect of matters under the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997. The date by which an annual fee or charge is to be paid is changed from 1 July to 1 October. The fees and charges are inclusive of goods and services tax.
