Order

1 Title

This order is the Business Development Boards (Dissolution) Order 2003.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 5 September 2003.

3 New Zealand Business Development Board dissolved

The New Zealand Business Development Board is dissolved at midnight on 5 September 2003.

4 Clause 5 of Business Development Boards (Dissolution and Establishment) Order 1998 revoked

Clause 5 of the Business Development Boards (Dissolution and Establishment) Order 1998 is revoked with effect from midnight on 5 September 2003.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

A provision is included in the Statutes Amendment Bill (No 3) 2002 for the repeal of the Business Developments Board Act 1991. In anticipation of the repeal of that Act, this order dissolves the New Zealand Business Development Board, the last remaining business development board, at midnight on 5 September 2003. The majority of the business development boards established under the Business Development Boards Act 1991 were dissolved in 1998.

1 General

This is a consolidation of the Business Development Boards (Dissolution) Order 2003 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
