Notice

1 Title

This notice is the Fisheries (Interim and Annual Deemed Values) Notice 2003 Amendment Notice 2010.

2 Commencement

This notice comes into force on 31 March 2010.

3 Application

This notice applies on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2010.

4 Principal notice amended

This notice amends the Fisheries (Interim and Annual Deemed Values) Notice 2003.

5 Schedule 1 amended

Schedule 1 is amended by omitting the items that correspond to each item set out in the Schedule of this notice and substituting, in each case, the corresponding item set out in the Schedule of this notice.

6 Schedule 1A amended

The items relating to SBW6A, SBW6B, SBW6I, and SBW6R in Schedule 1A are amended by—

(a)

omitting “0.50” and substituting “0.60”; and

(b)

omitting “0.72” and substituting “0.92”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice amends the Fisheries (Interim and Annual Deemed Values) Notice 2003 for SBW1, SBW6A, SBW6B, SBW6I, and SBW6R stocks by—

increasing the interim deemed values of these stocks to $0.41 per kg; and
increasing the annual deemed values for these stocks to $0.46 per kg; and
adjusting the standard differential deemed value for SBW1 to match the amended annual deemed value rate; and
increasing the non-standard differential deemed values for SBW6A, SBW6B, SBW6I, and SBW6R to $0.60 per kg and $0.92 per kg.

The notice comes into force on 31 March 2010, and applies on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2010.
