Revocation of Forest Disease Control Regulations: revoked, on 8 July 2003, pursuant to section 28(1) of the Biosecurity Amendment Act 2003 (2003 No 38).

This order is administered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Pursuant to section 70 of the Forests Act 1949, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, by this order which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967 (SR 1967/127).

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967.

Measures to control forest disease will now be undertaken under the Biosecurity Act 1993.

Date of notification in Gazette: 10 April 2003.
