Revocation of Meat (Residues) Regulations 1996: revoked, on 6 November 2008, by clause 3 of the Regulations Revocation Order 2008 (SR 2008/367).

Pursuant to section 25 of the Animal Products (Ancillary and Transitional Provisions) Act 1999, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, by this order, which comes into force on 9 July 2004 revokes the Meat (Residues) Regulations 1996 (SR 1996/199).

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order revokes the Meat (Residues) Regulations 1996 with effect on and after 9 July 2004. Matters formerly covered by those regulations are overtaken by specifications made under the Animal Products Act 1999.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
