This order is administered in the Ministry of Health.
Pursuant to section 3(a) of the Health Act 1956, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Infectious and Notifiable Disease (Enterobacter sakazakii Invasive Disease) Order 2005.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 21 July 2005.
3 Infectious diseases notifiable to medical officer of health
Schedule 1 of the Health Act 1956 is amended by inserting in Section B of Part 1, after the item relating to Diphtheria, the following item:
Enterobacter sakazakii invasive disease
Diane Morcom,
Clerk of the Executive Council.
Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 21 July 2005, inserts an item relating to Enterobacter sakazakii invasive disease in the list (of infectious diseases notifiable to a medical officer of health) in Section B of Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Health Act 1956.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
