Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Amendment Regulations 2005: revoked, on 1 April 2007, by regulation 6(a) of the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Amendment Regulations 2007 (SR 2007/61).

These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Social Development.

Pursuant to section 132AC of the Social Security Act 1964, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title

These regulations are the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Amendment Regulations 2005.

In these regulations, the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004¹ are called “the principal regulations”.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 April 2005.

3 Increasing rates of childcare and OSCAR subsidies

Each provision of the Schedule of the principal regulations listed in the first column of the Schedule is amended by omitting every expression set out opposite to it in the second column, and substituting in each case the expression set out opposite to it in the third column.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 April 2005, amend the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004 by raising the rates of childcare and OSCAR subsidies available to certain caregivers with dependent children.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2019.
