Pursuant to section 32 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1) Order 2005.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 11 April 2005.
3 Part 1 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended
Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 is amended by inserting, in its appropriate alphabetical order, the following item,
“Archives New Zealand”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 11 April 2005, inserts the name Archives New Zealand into Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975. Part 1 of Schedule 1 of that Act names the government departments to which the Act applies.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 10 March 2005.
