Pursuant to section 20 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, after having regard to the matters specified in that section, gives the following notice.

2 Commencement

  • This notice comes into force on 1 April 2005.

3 Schedule amended

  • The third column of the Schedule of the principal notice is amended by omitting the expression “327.000”, and substituting the expression “190.000”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which comes into force on 1 April 2005, amends the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Commercial Catches) Notice 1999.

The amendment decreases the total allowable commercial catch for spiny rock lobster for the Gisborne quota management area from 327 to 190 tonnes.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.

Date of notification in Gazette: 31 March 2005.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, after having regard to the matters specified in section 21 of that Act, gives the following notice.

1 Title

  • This notice is the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Commercial Catches) Amendment Notice 2009.

2 Commencement

  • This notice comes into force on 31 March 2009.

3 Application

  • This notice applies on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2009.
