    At Wellington this 8th day of May 2006

Pursuant to section 333 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

  • This order is the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Minimum Weekly Earnings) Regulations Revocation Order 2006.

2 Commencement

  • This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

3 Revocation

  • The Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Minimum Weekly Earnings) Regulations 2004 (SR 2004/188) are revoked.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Minimum Weekly Earnings) Regulations 2004 (the regulations).

The amount of minimum weekly earnings for the purposes of weekly compensation formerly determined by the regulations is now automatically adjusted annually by clause 42 of Schedule 1 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001.
