Pursuant to section 183 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001, the Minister for ACC gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Accredited Employers Framework) Amendment Notice 2007.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 1 April 2007.
3 Principal notice amended
This notice amends the Framework for the Accredited Employers Programme.
4 Premium (Partnership Discount Plan)
5 Premium (Full Self Cover Plan)
6 Employer liability cap

(1) Paragraph 16.1(a) is amended by omitting
“or 16.3”
.(2) Paragraph 16 is amended by revoking subparagraphs 16.2 and 16.3 and substituting the following subparagraph:
“16.2 An Accredited Employer within the Full Self Cover Plan must, and an Accredited Employer within the Partnership Discount Plan may, elect to be protected from liability in excess of an amount between 160% of the Risk and 250% of the Risk.”
(3) Paragraph 16.3A is amended by omitting
“elections referred to in paragraphs 16.2 and 16.3 are”
and substituting“election referred to in paragraph 16.2 is”
.(4) Paragraph 16.4(a) is amended by omitting
“R = A x B”
and substituting“R = A x B x C”
.(5) Paragraph 16.4(a) is amended by adding the following item:
C = Loss ratio for the Accredited Employer for the Cover Period, as determined by the Manager.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on 1 April 2007, amends the Framework for the Accredited Employers Programme. The main changes are to—
•increase the maximum partnership programme administration fee from 3% to 4.2% of the premium that would otherwise be payable:
•increase the minimum stop loss cover limit from 150% to 160% of the risk, and increase the associated maximum limit from 200% to 250% of that risk.
