At Wellington this 25th day of June 2007

Pursuant to section 297(1)(h) of the Fisheries Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title

These regulations are the Fisheries (Reporting) Amendment Regulations (No 3) 2007.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 October 2007.

3 Principal regulations amended

These regulations amend the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001.

4 Part 1 of Schedule 3 amended

(1)

Table 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 3 is amended by inserting the item set out in Schedule 1 of these regulations in its appropriate alphabetical order.

(2)

Part 1 of Schedule 3 is amended by adding the table 22 set out in Schedule 2 of these regulations.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations come into force on 1 October 2007. They amend the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001 to add fishstock codes for white warehou in each quota management area, including new quota management area 5B.

Quota management area 5B is created under the Fisheries (Amalgamation of Quota Management Areas) Order 2007 by amalgamating the original quota management areas 5 and 6 for white warehou.
