    At Wellington this 9th day of July 2007

Pursuant to section 32 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

  • This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1) Order (No 2) 2007.

2 Commencement

  • This order comes into force on 3 September 2007.

3 Part 2 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended

  • Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 is amended by inserting the following item in its appropriate alphabetical order: “District Health Boards New Zealand Incorporated”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 3 September 2007, inserts the name District Health Boards New Zealand Incorporated into Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975. The effect of this is that the Ombudsmen Act 1975 and the Official Information Act 1982 both apply to District Health Boards New Zealand Incorporated.
