Preamble
At Wellington this 12th day of November 2007
Pursuant to sections 38 and 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
These regulations are the Civil Aviation Charges Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2007.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 13 December 2007.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991.
4 International passenger security charges
Regulation 20(1) is amended by omitting
“$12.56”
and substituting“$15.00”
.
5 Domestic passenger security charges
Regulation 20A(1) is amended by omitting
“$3.57”
and substituting“$4.66”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 13 December 2007, amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991.
The amendments increase—
•the international passenger security charge from $12.56 to $15.00; and
•the domestic passenger security charge from $3.57 to $4.66.
