Preamble
At Wellington this 3rd day of December 2007
Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Securities Amendment Act 2006, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order is the Securities Amendment Act 2006 Commencement Order 2007.
2 Commencement of remaining provisions of Securities Amendment Act 2006
The following provisions of the Securities Amendment Act 2006 (the Amendment Act) come into force on 29 February 2008:
(a) new section 27(1)(b) of the Securities Act 1978 as substituted by section 5 of the Amendment Act:
(b) section 19 of the Amendment Act:
(c) in the Schedule of the Amendment Act, the repeal of sections 382(1)(c) and 383(1)(d) of the Companies Act 1993.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
The Securities Amendment Act 2006 came into force in 2006 except for the provisions listed in section 2(2) of that Act, which were to come into force by Order in Council. This order now brings those remaining provisions into force on 29 February 2008.
