Pursuant to section 47 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title
This order is the Law Practitioners (New South Wales Barristers) Order Revocation Order 2008.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Revocation
The Law Practitioners (New South Wales Barristers) Order 1941 (SR 1941/254) is revoked.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the Law Practitioners (New South Wales Barristers) Order 1941.
The provisions of the Law Practitioners (New South Wales Barristers) Order 1941 are outdated and no longer required.
Date of notification in Gazette: 3 July 2008.
