Pursuant to section 2 of the Court Martial Appeals Amendment Act 2007, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

2 Commencement of Court Martial Appeals Amendment Act 2007
The Court Martial Appeals Amendment Act 2007 comes into force on 1 July 2009.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 1 July 2009, the Court Martial Appeals Amendment Act 2007. That Act and the following enactments, which are being brought into force on the same date, form part of a revision of the New Zealand military justice system:
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 7 August 2008.
