Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Amendment Regulations 2012

Pursuant to sections 163, 166, 167, and 168 of the Climate Change Response Act 2002, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Amendment Regulations 2012.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Regulations 2008 (the principal regulations).
4 Amendments to principal regulations
Amend the principal regulations as set out in the Schedule.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette, amend the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Regulations 2008 to replace references to the chief executive with references to the EPA. The provisions that these regulations amend were inserted in the principal regulations the day before the Environmental Protection Authority Act 2011 received the Royal assent and so could not be included in the amendments made by that Act.
