Pursuant to section 163 of the Climate Change Response Act 2002, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government makes the following regulations, acting—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister for Climate Change Issues made after complying with the requirements of sections 163(5) and 166(1) of that Act.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Amendment Regulations 2015.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 January 2016.
3 Application
These regulations apply for the year commencing on 1 January 2016 and for each subsequent year.
4 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Regulations 2008 (the principal regulations).

In Schedule 4, table 2, in the fourth column, below “626”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations amend the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Regulations 2008 (the principal regulations). The tables in Schedules 4 and 6 of the principal regulations relating to the pre-calculated values of carbon stock per hectare for exotic hardwoods are extended to include forests older than 25 years so as to allow an accurate estimate of carbon stocks in those forests.
These regulations come into force on 1 January 2016 and apply for the year commencing on that date and for each subsequent year.
